My dad and I sat at a communal table while I had a flight and he tried one of their beers. From outside the building they looked closed, but the inside was lively on a Saturday afternoon. I loved those cans and knew I wanted to check out this microbrewery that has a decently wide reach. I discovered Wren House after seeing their Spellbound cans all over Instagram at some point. Wren House Brewing The first brewery on my list. This obviously includes visiting breweries. I love the west coast, deserts, and exploring new cities. When my job told me they were sending me to Phoenix for a conference, I was excited. Heim Um Bjor – I love seasonal ales and this winter ale was delicious in a festive bottle.It’s a beer made from GLACIER LAGOON ICEBERGS. If you’re in Iceland and see this beer available, get it. Vatnajokull Frozen in Time – Hands down one of the coolest beers I’ve ever had.I later learned they sell it at my local grocery store □ I loved their Icelandic White Ale so much I even brought some home. 10 (a spiced beer).Įinstök: Another microbrewery seen throughout Iceland, but I’ve also seen in the states. I tried to drink some and then passed it along to my friend.īorg Brugghús: This microbrewery was everywhere, with many different styles. Viking Bara Kilo Pipar – I don’t normally order porters yet in my quest to try new beers, I ended up with a bottle of this in my hand. ![]() Viking Red IPA – I picked this because the bottle was pretty, but also a red IPA sounded interesting to me.I drank it while eating one of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had from the oldest restaurant in Reykjavik ( Prikid). Viking Classic- the first beer I tried after arriving to Iceland. ![]()
